Chinese New Year tradition



































My grandmother has been making this treat for about as long as I could remember. Sticky rice flour and sugar mixed really well then steamed.

A great old tool. This method of making rice flour is not used anymore. I was told that Thai treats are much tastier by using fresh rice flour.
